This year I am celebrating my 25th anniversary providing original strength-based training, resources, and consultation to parents and professionals guiding kids with emotional & behavioral challenges. The positive, trauma-informed, strength-based approach I teach truly transforms lives and is supported by some of the most cutting edge research in our field.

It Has Been a Great Year!
As a training specialist, this past year has been joyful and rewarding. From addressing 500 educators in Winnipeg, MB, and numerous other school districts, to working with hundreds of juvenile detention workers in Bakersfield, CA, to visiting many residential programs throughout the US and Canada…it’s been a gratifying year.
Thank You!
My most requested presentation remains: No Such Thing as a Bad Kid: Understanding and Responding to Kids with Emotional and Behavioral Challenges Using a Positive, Trauma-Informed, Strength-Based Approach
I am, however, more and more, being asked to present my workshop titled: “Use the Force, Luke!” Managing Number One and Staying Motivated to Make a Difference.
After all, you can’t manage kids until you first learn to manage yourself.
Read descriptions of both presentations.
